We started off 2022 with a drive into central London on the 1st for lunch at The Admiralty pub and then afterwards took a drive through Regent Street to have a look at the Christmas Lights in town. The following day, Ava and Kin Kay popped around to ours for the afternoon which was nice for Ellen and Ava to have some afternoon time together. Then on the 3rd we took a drive into St Paul's, walked up to One New Change and went for lunch at Gordon Ramsey's Bread Street Kitchen & Bar. After a rather disappointing lunch there actually, we walked over the Millennium Bridge and into the Tate for a little wander before heading home.

After the next couple of days at home, the following weekend we made our way into London Bridge and over to Borough Market to get a few things, then grabbed a beer at the Vault Bar under Tower Bridge before dinner at Five Guys. On the Sunday, we decided to make it a touristy day and after getting the train into town and heading to the Southbank Centre, we caught an Uber Boat from Embankment Pier over to Greenwich for lunch. Everywhere was super busy for some reason, but landed up at Wagamama's and after that we got the Cable Car over the river and back again and then heading home.

The following few days involved an afternoon picnic at Brimmington Park, a few drinks at Beer Rebellion after hearing the house sale might not proceed, birthday dinner at Hawksmoor, swimming at Peckham Pulse, Chai's Thai for dinner and once again into Tower Bridge for (more) Five Guys :) And then last week we organised to meet up with Kin Kay, Joanna and Ava for dinner at Hong Kong City which we'd always passed, but never tried, and they were familiar with it, so decided to meet up that evening there which was really good. Una and Ellen also had a girly day in town where they went to go watch the Frozen musical which was apparently quite amazing, then Ian and I headed in after to meet them at Caffè Concerto followed by dinner at Bella Italia.

On the 26th we heard that we were going to eventually exchange on the houses within the next few days, after going through a rollercoaster few weeks on ups and downs. So that really was some good news. Then two days later we got the confirmation on the exchange and looking to complete by next week Friday, which is really soon but also super exciting! So these past few days have been fairly hectic with house packing and sorting!
