This past week from Saturday to Saturday we've been at Camber Sands, and before leaving we didn't realise just how much we actually needed to pack with two little ones, haha! But we managed to get everything squeezed into the car and arrived there late afternoon last Saturday. We had a different mobile home this time to the previous couple of trips, the other one wasn't available, but good to mix it up a bit. Also it was much cooler this time round being November compared to the other times we'd gone. After unpacking and settling in, we headed down to the entertainment centre for their Halloween party with Ellen dressed as a witch and Ian dressed as a chicken :) It was rather chaotic down there with all the kids going wild, but Ellen had the best time ever and thoroughly enjoyed it!

At least from the Sunday onwards, it got a bit quieter as it was the end of half term, so timed it quite well, as they still had the entertainment, just with slightly less crowds than the Saturday night. The rest of the days we spent around the resort, going swimming, down to the beach and the entertainment centre in the evenings. Ellen loved it, Ian was entertained and Una and I got to chill out in the evenings and enjoy a drink or two down there :)

Yesterday we decided to drive into Rye for a wander around there, starting off with lunch at Simply Italian and then a walk around the cobbled streets which was really nice. Quite a hilly little town, but really picturesque with the streets and old style buildings.

That afternoon after Rye, once back at the resort, we headed down to the beach for our last afternoon there, and then this morning after breakfast we packed up the car and headed back home, getting in this afternoon.
