This past week we've been away at Camber Sands, from last Monday to today. The previous visits to Camber Sands were with just three of us, now there were four (well, five if you include pooch!). Ian's first holiday and think he enjoyed it - Ellen definitely loved every minute there which was good.

We were lucky with the weather for the most part which made it that much more enjoyable. First day, however, was a bit of a disaster with the beach and the wind and not being fully organised, but certainly got better and more organised as the days went on!

During the week there we managed a few swims in the sea, a couple of swims with Ellen in the resort pool, some kite flying on the beach, a pub visit one evening, a few trips down to the entertainment venue at night and some decent walks with Mia along the beach.

We also managed to get the miniature railway train down from New Romney down to Dungeness which was actually quite good fun, and fairly scenic on the way there. Once at Dungeness we took a bit of a walk around and had hoped to stop in at the cafe but with time pressing on we decided to get the next train back.

Was a really nice relaxing break away and sure Ellen had a great time, as did little Ian :)
