We've come to the end of August in Lockdown, and it's been a pretty good month for us with a few trips away and some decent weather over these past few weeks. At the start of the month, after our few days away at Up Sticks Glamping, we did a Saturday morning trip into town to pop into the MyspacerSenspacerse office to pick up a few things which I had left there back in March and not yet been back to collect. It was quite sad to see the office in such an "abandoned" state with boxes and desks and chairs scattered around. After grabbing a few things from my old desk, we headed downstairs for a stroll alongside the river before grabbing a bite to eat at Riverside Cafe Lambeth Pier and then headed home.

The rest of that weekend was really nice weather so we had the swimming pool out for the afternoon, and that evening we decided to have movie night in the garden, with the projector and big screen out on the log cabin. We invited upstairs to come down and watch, and only Fiona joined, but was good to have our own outdoor cinema at home.

The middle weekend we were away at Sunnyfield Campsite, and last weekend was good weather again so we took a drive out to Sydenham and spent a bit of time walking around Sydenham Wells Park and on the playground there. That afternoon we had a braai at home, followed by some biltong hanging in the log cabin.

Tomorrow morning we're all off to Hastings for a few days away there. Hopefully the good weather continues and we get some nice walks along the beach and some nice time in the sun :)
