We're now just over three months since lockdown first kicked in, but this month we did have a few restrictions lifted, so Ellen was able to return back to nursery on the first of the month which was both good for her to get back to her buddies, as well as Una and myself able to get back to fairly normal working hours again, instead of our split days and alternating hours.

Otherwise we've been a bit busier this month, relatively speaking that is, with a few visits into town while things were still fairly quiet. One weekend we made our way into London Bridge for a picnic by Tower Bridge, followed by a visit up to Nunhead Cemetery on the Sunday.

The following weekend we headed into Green Park for a walk around there and a picnic, as well as a stroll down Whitehall and around Horse Guards Parade. The Sunday was just spent around the house and in the garden enjoying the warmer June weather :)

The next weekend we made our way into town again for a walk along the Southbank and down to the London Eye and had ourselves a picnic in the Jubilee Park & Gardens. Still can't get over how quiet town is, just no one around, usually on a weekend the place would be manic, but just so empty now! On the Sunday we headed up to Nunhead Cemetery and got the paddling pool out in the afternoon for a bit of splashing about.

This past weekend we decided to have a socially distanced Glastonbury festival at home. We had decided to buy a projector for home, so set that up outside to project the festival highlights onto a screen on the log cabin, as well as decorate the garden to give it a Glasto-vibe. Since it was over a few days (Thursday to Sunday), we decided to invite Lottie and Verity from upstairs, as well as Fiona, around on the Thursday evening to watch some of last year's performances, and enjoy a picnic in the garden. Then Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening we streamed other year's performances, enjoying a few drinks and a laid back vibe in the deck chairs in front of the big screen :)

This past weekend we decided to head over to Peckham Rye Park for a bit of a stroll around there and visit the ducks and the swans, as well as a visit up to Nunhead Cemetery for a stroll through there.
