This past weekend we headed out east to Kent and spent the weekend in Margate for Ellen's birthday which was on Friday. We had breakfast at home on Friday, gave Ellen a couple of her birthday presents and then headed off in the car out to Margate. We had booked the Sea View Sanctuary Airbnb Apartment which was ready for check-in when we got there.

That afternoon we headed down to the beach which was right in front of the apartment for a nice walk and give Mia a decent run around. After a good walk on the beach, we returned to the apartment for the rest of the evening.

On Saturday morning we took a walk along the beach front, stopping in at The Bus Café for a coffee, followed by a slow walk back to the apartment along the beach. We then decided to take a drive out to Broadstairs Tesco Extra to get a few things there, and grabbed a bite to eat and coffee at Harris + Hoole. The rest of the afternoon and evening was just back at the apartment chilling out there.

Yesterday started off with a nice walk along the beach, then after a couple of hours we packed up and drove over to Botany Bay beach for a walk and some lunch. After sometime on the beach, it was back into the car and headed home back to London after a good weekend away :)
