On Friday last week, we started off in the morning heading out to Peckham Rye Park for some time around the playground and then over to the ducks and a bit of a walk around there. That afternoon was just at home and in the log cabin while Ellen kept busy with her new Christmas toys :)
Then on Saturday morning we had (yet another) appointment at IKEA to follow up with the kitchen planning and designs, which is all coming together now. After a bit of time at home that afternoon, Shazell came over to babysit while Uns and myself headed out into town for dinner at Folie Restaurant followed by a cocktail at Bar Américain before we called it a night and headed home.
After spending Sunday at home and in the log cabin, we headed down to Walton yesterday morning to drop off Mia with Greg and Kim and the boys where she was going to stay while we were out in South Africa. We spent the first half of the day down there and drove back over Ellen's nap. We arrived back to Peckham just before sunset so decided to stop in at Telegraph Hill Park to watch it set from there, and then headed back home for the last couple of hours in the afternoon outside in the log cabin.
This morning we drove out to Herne Hill for coffee and cake at Dough Artisan Bakehouse which was owned by the winner of this year's Apprentice show. Afterwards we decided to head over Brockwell Park which was just down the road for a bit of a walk around there.
Once back home, we finished our packing and sorting the house, and we're just about to head off to the airport now for our flight out to SA later this evening :)
