On Friday evening, once I got home, Uns made her way out to IKEA for our follow-on kitchen appointment. We're making some good progress on it, just need to confirm the finer details and double check all the measurements, then hopefully ready to book that in for the new year sometime.
On Saturday morning we popped up to Nunhead, first for brunch and coffee at Goodcup, and then headed over to the Nunhead Library for Ellen to wander around and do a bit of reading :) The rest of the afternoon we were just chilling out at home.

With yesterday been a nice and brisk sunny day, we decided we'd head into town for a bit of a walk around. We started off with a coffee at Ole & Steen and then over to Trafalgar Square for sometime while Ellen ran around having a bit of fun. Since it was Remembrance Sunday we made our way over towards Parliament Street to see some of the procession, followed by a walk through St. James Park which is always scenic with the trees this time of the year.

We then thought we'd chance our luck with Sunday lunch at Hawksmoor and they happened to have a table for us, and Gav was working too, so was good to see him there and have ourselves an awesome Hawksmoor roast. Once we were done with lunch, Gav was on his break so we met up with him at the Three Crowns pub just down the road from the restaurant for a beer there.

After a drink at the pub, Gav had to shoot back to work, while Uns, Ellen and myself made our way back home for the evening.
