On Saturday morning we had an NCT catch-up over at David and Katie's place, along with the other couples and babies. Was good to see everyone again, we hadn't all met up together since our Old Nun's Head get-together last year April, almost a year ago to the date! But good to see all the little ones together, and after some time there with coffee and cake we headed off home. Later that afternoon, we decided on Burger Bear at the Old Nun's Head so made our way up there, along with poochy for the walk :)

Yesterday we had tickets to The Brick Bar which I had been pretty excited about, considering the build up to the event and how the media had been talking about the famous Lego Brick Bar pop-up coming to London. I managed to get us tickets last year just as they went on sale, and it was only a couple of weeks ago when they announced the secret location, which was at the Oval Space in East London. We were promised over a million bricks with furniture and other items being made out of bricks as well as brick-inspired food and drinks. Unfortunately it was rather disappointing and not quite what they hyped it up to be. But Ellen enjoyed her time there - between the lights, the music and the ball pit, and Uns and I had a drink each for outselves, so wasn't all that bad, but not quite what they had built it up to be :(

After about an hour and a half there, we decided to walk back towards Shoreditch, first stopping in at the Columbia Road Flower Market for a browse and some flowers for Uns. Then once in Shoreditch we thought we'd try Dishoom for a late lunch since the queue wasn't too long and all the activity in there would keep missy well entertained :)

After our lunch, which was super tasty and Ellen seemed to enjoy too, we made our way home for the evening to finish off a busy, but good fun, weekend!
