Quite a busy weekend just gone by, starting off with the London Coffee Festival on Saturday at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. We'd last visited the coffee festival three years ago and decided to go again, this time with missy. It was just as busy as ever, and probably a bit more tricky with a buggy this time, but we managed to browse around to the various stands and get ourselves a good few coffees too. After a couple of hours there we grabbed some tasty hot wings from the Orange Buffalo stand outside on Dray Walk just off Brick Lane. Since the weather was rather mild and sunny, we decided to walk over to Spitalfields City Farm for a while for Ellen to see the animals before heading on home.

Yesterday was Mother's Day here, slightly later than it was last year which fell on the Sunday just before Ellen was born, so Una just missed out on it then. After breakfast at the Blackbird Bakery, we spent a good bit of the morning at home and then drove over to Nunhead Cemetery for a nice leisurely walk around there, before heading home for the evening.

Today was Ellen's first official full day of nursery, with Una starting back at work again tomorrow. Last week was just Ellen's settling in week and from today she'll be there full time, Monday to Wednesday.

So hopefully she enjoys it, it'll be an adjustment for her at first but we're certain she'll settle in there in no time and have plenty of fun :)
