On Saturday a week ago, after a morning at B&Q and around the house, I headed out that evening to Clapham Junction and met up with Duncs, Will, Aggie and Andrew at Pho on Battersea Rise. After our dinner there, we decided to head up to BrewDog and landed up having a few more there than I had initially planned, before calling it a night and we all headed home. Sunday was an incredibly windy and stormy day so we landed up being housebound for the most of it, and started some work on missy's busy board which we had planned for her birthday.
After a little bit more work on the busy board on Monday and Tuesday evenings, we had it all done and ready for Ellen's birthday on Wednesday morning when she woke :) Una had also organised to have some of the other moms and babies around that afternoon, and then our plan was to head out the weekend with missy and we do something in town.
Saturday was a gusty and stormy day, and while Uns was out in town with the girls at their brunch, I spent the day at home playing with Ellen :) Then yesterday morning we all headed into London Bridge, walked through Borough Market and then along the Southbank over to the Southbank Centre where we stayed for a few hours, which always has plenty to see and do there and entertain the little ones :)
After some time there we took a walk back, stopped in at the Tate Modern shop briefly and then continued onto London Bridge to get the train home. On the way home we did have an unpredicted hail shower so stopped in at the Blackbird Bakery for a quick drink before making a dash home in-between the showers!
At least we made it home fairly dry and then chilled out the rest of the evening to finish off the weekend.
