Yesterday morning we had brunch booked in with James & Fede who were over in London for the weekend. They'd organised to meet up with us as well as Eoin and Philippa at Bills on Northcote Road by Clapham Junction. It landed up being a really wet and rainy day, but at least our only plans for the day were indoors, it was just a challenge getting there and back without getting too soaked! But was good to catch up with them again over a good breakfast before heading home for the rest of the afternoon.

That evening Carol came over to babysit for us, while Uns and I headed into London Bridge for dinner at Hawksmoor in Borough. After an excellent meal and some drinks there, we made our way over to the Shard for a couple of cocktails at Aqua Shard, where we hadn't been in months! Was good to go back, even with the rather slow bar service, nice to have a drink there again with the view over London. After a couple at the bar, we called it a night and headed home for a bit of a catch up with Carol before she made her way back to Woolwich. Certainly a later Saturday night than we're used to these days :)

After a rather busy Saturday and a night out, we just had a fairly quiet day yesterday around the house hanging out with Ellen and Mia :)
