Definitely one of the busier weekends I've had in a long time, feeling rather knackered today! Starting off on Friday, Uns and Ellen came through to Farringdon and we met up and had a nice lunch under the trees in the park at Charterhouse Square.

Then after work, I popped over to The Hope pub and met up with JP, along with AJ and Hendo. After a quick one there, I made my way out to Stratford and met up with Duncs, Mr Shit and Diego and then headed into the London Stadium, in time for the Foo Fighters gig. We originally had tickets for the Saturday, but after Waggie organised their wedding that day, we managed to offload our tickets to Keith, and Una surprised me with Friday night tickets. The gig was awesome, basically two and a half hours of their greatest hits, with a few snippets of various covers thrown in too! Getting home was super slow with the sheer number of people, but certainly worth it!

On Saturday, after a morning at home with Uns and Ellen, I headed off before midday out to Southfields to do the wedding photography for Will and Aggie. After a few photos at their place and once Carol and Andrew had arrived, we made our way over to Wandsworth Town Hall in time for the marriage ceremony, followed a few photos in and around the town hall.

Afterwards we headed back to their place, grabbed a few things and then over to the Dog & Fox for their reception and dinner. While Carol and Andrew did the decorating and the setting up, myself and the newlyweds made our way over towards Wimbledon Common and surrounding areas for a few more photos until it was time for everyone to start arriving. Really enjoyed the reception and dinner, and good to have caught up with everyone there as well.

Sunday morning was spent just chilling out at home with Greg, Kim and the boys who had come up mid afternoon on the Saturday to babysit Ellen while we were at the wedding. After some breakfast and time in the log cabin with the boys, they decided to head back home, and later on we had Keith and Christine over for a braai for lunch, and for them to meet little Ellen. It had been a while since I'd last caught up with Keith and we hadn't yet met Christine, so good afternoon with them and nice weather for the braai and to sit outside. Once they'd left, Uns and I walked over to Brimmington Park with Ellen and Mia to give poochy as bit of a run around and nap time for Ellen, before heading home to chill out after a rather busy weekend!

Yesterday turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far which isn't very surprising - the weather at the moment is unbelievable. It's just unfortunate I've got to spend most of the day inside looking out at it, but Una's definitely trying to make the most of it on her year long holiday maternity leave :) After taking Mia for a walk last night up to Telegraph Hill Park and back again, we had dinner outside, enjoying the warm evening temperatures!

Today's a similarly hot day again like yesterday and meant to last all week. We're off to Italy this Thursday for James and Fede's wedding and looking to be hot there as well, so at least we're not leaving the good weather behind us :)
