On Saturday, we had Gav and Jane around for a visit to meet Ellen, and with the nice weather we managed to all sit outside for coffee and scones, with Ellen taking it all in. Then once they'd gone, we made our way over to Balham for the afternoon to AJ and Sula's place, along with a few other friends of theirs to celebrate Moz's birthday and to meet little Tulip. We had originally planned just to pop in, but landed up having a good afternoon out there and got back home around evening time.

Then on Sunday morning, which was father's day, Uns Ellen had gotten me a star map print of the night sky at the time she was born, as well as organising a treasure hunt for me around the house with various clues hidden around the place. The last clue turned out to be tickets to the Foo Fighters tomorrow night, which I originally thought I wouldn't have been able to make, after having to offload our original Saturday tickets due to Waggie's wedding. Super exciting :) The rest of the day was spent at home, finishing off with a braai that evening.

Monday and Tuesday were exceptionally nice and sunny days, as was Wednesday, so after work I met up with Uns and Ellen at Nunhead and we decided on Chai's Thai Restaurant for dinner, and were able to sit outside and eat, before heading home.

Yet another glorious day today, with a super busy weekend coming up, but more about that next weekend with that update :)
