With the decent weather last week and JP leaving the company, there landed up being a few days of afternoon beers early on in the week, starting off with the Jerusalem Tavern on Monday late afternoon, followed by a few in the sun at The Fence on Tuesday and then a couple of lunch time drinks on Wednesday at the Fox and Anchor. On Tuesday though, Uns and Ellen came through to Farringdon and we had ourselves a picnic for lunch over in the park at Charterhouse Square.

Then this past weekend was the late May bank holiday weekend, and fortunately we had a good few days of sun and warm weather. We started the weekend off with Shawn and Heather's wedding on Saturday at The Windsor Castle Pub nearby Baker Street in town. We decided to go through early and grab lunch at Bill's Restaurant and then walk over to the pub. With it being rather hot and loud inside, we couldn't really get Ellen to settle, so decided to head away home fairly early, but stayed there long enough to manage a bit of catch up with everyone before we headed off.

On Saturday morning, after spending it at home and in the garden, we decided to head into Peckham to check out Peckham Levels in the multi-storey carpark which had opened back in October of last year, but we hadn't yet gotten around to visiting. They've made some really good use of the space there, and after grabbing a bite to eat and a drink, we took our time strolling around there before heading home. Since Ellen was still in good form after the afternoon out, we decided to quickly pop home and pick up Mia and all head over to Brimmington Park for an hour to give poochy a bit of a run around.

After spending yesterday morning at home and in the garden, Uns had organised to meet up with Greg, Lee, Sarah and Neal at Frank's, but after getting there we realised it was a bit too much of a mission to get the buggy up to the rooftop level, so met up with them at Peckham Levels instead. After having wanting to go there for ages, we landed up visiting it twice in as many days, and sure we'll be back again soon enough. We grabbed a bite to eat and a couple of drinks there, and was good to catch up with the four of them again, before deciding to head on home.

Glad the weather held out for the whole weekend, the initial forecast was meant to be really rubbish but landed up with three good days of sun, which is always well received :)
