We've been pretty lucky this past week with some nice warm and dry weather, so last week Tuesday evening after work I met up with Uns, Ellen and Mia outside Nunhead Station and we headed up to Telegraph Hill Park for a little while before heading home. With it being nice and sunny during the day, it also means I try head over to the park in Charterhouse Square at lunchtime for the occasional nap in the sun :)
On Thursday evening after work, Uns and Ellen had come through to Farringdon and we decided to go for dinner at the Bleeding Heart Tavern, a French pub and restaurant just up from the station. Dinner was good, albeit rather rushed, basically to try finish eating and get little Ellen back to sleep again before we left and headed off home. Then on Friday after work we stopped in at Chai's Garden Thai Restaurant for dinner there which was good, after which we then headed on home.
This weekend's weather has been great so decided to just spend it at home and in the garden, enjoying the warmer temperatures. The Royal Wedding was on the TV in the background on Saturday and decided to get the Skottel out for a bit of a breakfast fry up. Then on Sunday, after an afternoon walk around the streets of Nunhead, we fired up the Weber for a lamb braai to finish off the weekend :)
Hoping for another nice warm week again here, and possibly a lunchtime picnic with Uns and Ellen if the sunny temperatures decide to stick around, which we're all hoping for!
