On Thursday last week, the folks flew into Heathrow and were staying with Greg for their two weeks over here, and we had said for them to come up to ours on the Saturday and Sunday. So Saturday morning they made their way up from Walton to spend the day with us staring at Ellen :) The weather wasn't great, so spent most of it indoors, but did manage to get out with poochy in the late afternoon for a walk up to Nunhead and back, which was fine until we got scuppered with a sudden downpour of rain! The rest of the evening was just spent at home, followed by the hot stone raclette for dinner which always goes down well.

Yesterday morning mom and I took Ellen in the stroller for a walk up to Telegraph Hill Park and around the streets of Nunhead before heading back home in time for Greg, Kim and the boys to arrive up at ours for lunch. Was good to have had everyone at our place for the afternoon, with Ellen and the boys being the centre of attention for the day :) Later that afternoon, Greg, Kim and the boys headed off home, followed by the folks who caught the train a short while after them back to theirs.

Earlier today Uns, Ellen and myself headed into Peckham to get a few things from the high street, and stopped in at Costa Coffee for lunch before heading back home to chill out for the evening. Today's my last day of paternity leave, returning back to work tomorrow morning, so definitely a case of the Sunday Monday night blues this evening :(
