On Friday evening the weekend before last, Uns and I met up after work at Waterloo Station and had planned on Wahaca for dinner, but with a 45 minute wait for a table, we decided to grab something from the street food market instead. Afterwards we made our way to the Aquarium for the Silent Disco. The last one we'd been to was at The Shard, and that was a superb venue, both for the layout and the setup of the DJs, but also the view overlooking London. Unfortunately the Aquarium didn't quite live up to those same expectations - we still enjoyed a wander around there, but certainly thought there was a better vibe at The Shard. So we decided not to stay too long, and instead headed over to The Barrow Boy & Banker pub at London Bridge for a couple of drinks there before heading home.

That Saturday we had our first NCT course over in Peckham Rye at the Bussey Building, and that evening we had booked into Pedler for dinner with Teresa and Sophie who were staying with us over the weekend. On Sunday morning, while Uns was at yoga, since there appeared to be a slight break in the rain, I took Mia for a lengthy walk around Nunhead and up to Telegraph Hill Park and back, before all four of us stopped in at the Blackbird Bakery for some brunch. After a bite to eat there, we drove over to Greenwich Park and braved the cold and walked around there for a few hours before heading back home.

We weren't home for long before Uns and I had to head out again, this time off to the Royal Albert Hall for Cirque du Soleil's OVO production. I'd never seen a Cirque du Soleil show before, nor had I been to the Royal Albert Hall, so two birds with one stone that night :) The show was excellent, and some of the acts really quite amazing indeed!

On this Saturday just gone by, we had our other NCT course over at Nunhead in the morning, followed by an afternoon at home watching some of the Six Nations games and then that evening out to Shoreditch for our Breakfast Club dinner at Amici Miei. There were 11 of us in total, and afterwards, myself and Mr Shit decided to grab a couple of beers at the Owl and Pussycat pub before calling it a night and heading home.

Yesterday was just a rather lazy day at home, with it being bitterly cold outside. We did decide to drive over to Peckham Rye Common for a bit of a walk around there with Mia, but wasn't too long before heading back to the warm house and the comfort of the couch :)
