Another rather busy week gone by, starting off with my birthday on Monday. Uns got me an awesome biltong cutter which goes well with the biltong box, so no doubt I'll be getting another batch of biltong on the go very soon :)

On Wednesday, Uns and I went for dinner at Kudu, which has just recently opened up down the road from us, where Kitchen 54 used to be. Obviously we were rather gutted when that closed down, but dinner at Kudu was exceptionally good, serving up South African-inspired dishes with locally foraged ingredients, as well as some good tasty cocktails too! Also a nice short walk home afterwards :)

On Friday, after getting home and quickly grabbing a bite to eat, we then headed out to Hammersmith to watch Jim Jefferies in his The Unusual Punishment Tour. We'd last seen him a year and a half ago at Logan Hall in Bloomsbury, so we'd been looking forward to seeing him again, even though he did re-use some of his previous material, still a good funny night out!

Yesterday morning Uns headed into London Bridge for her doughnut making course at Bread Ahead, which was a half day course there. Then later on, once home, her and I headed out to Penge to pick up Juke, which was ready for us after having done the initial paperwork last week and finalised the transfer this week. Once we'd sorted everything we needed to, we got given the keys and made our way home, which was all very exciting. Now to try figure out all the car settings and dashboard settings, which I'm sure will keep me busy this week :)

The weather today was rather rubbish, with a mix of wind, rain and sleet - certainly an indoors day. We had invited Robbie and Gillean around for lunch, so they came through with the boys for the afternoon - was good to catch up with them again, must've been about four years since we were last at their place.

This evening was just a quiet one at home, before the start of another week. Hopefully get to take Juke out next weekend for a bit of spin somewhere, providing the weather improves before then!
