On Wednesday last week I joined JJ and Storey at Wembley to watch Spurs take on Apoel Nicosia in the Champions League. I had been thinking for a while now of trying to go watch a Spurs game, and then after SA lost to Ireland so badly in the rugby, I figured I needed a new sport and asked the lads to try get me a spare ticket :) So after work we met up at Farringdon, got the train through to Wembley, grabbed a few beers before the game and then watched Spurs beat Apoel Nicosia by 3 goals to 0. So a fairly decent game, not quite 'on the edge of your seat' excitement, but hopefully get to another game or two in the new year.

On Thursday evening I was out again, this time meeting Tom and Duncs for steak night. Since none of the other lads could make it, the three of us decided to hit up Hawksmoor Borough for some deliciousness. Before dinner though, I first met Duncs at The Rake for a quick beer, and then over to Hawksmoor once Tom joined us. As always, a really good dinner there and good to catch up with them again.

Yesterday morning, after a busy morning around home and getting a few things from Nunhead, I headed through to Woolwich for Jukkas Christmas at Paul and Carol's place. Una had gone through earlier to help Carol with the prep, and I followed through later in the afternoon. As always with Jukkas Christmas, a good turn out and really fun afternoon with everyone!

This morning we woke up to a fresh blanket of snow outside. They had said there was some snow predicted, but wasn't expecting quite as much as there was. And the temperature had certainly dropped a fair bit from yesterday too!

So as expected, we had no real interest in going outside or doing anything today, so a very chilled out day at home, on the couch and in front of the TV. Well, except for my brief adventure out to The Hope pub to get Una's phone which she'd left at Paul and Carol's place last night, and luckily Lozzie and Jo were meeting up with some mates in Peckham so she brought that though - much easier than trying to get out to Woolwich in the rain and snow :)
