Last week Friday after work I headed down towards St. Paul's for Paul and Dan's birthday drinks at Shaw's Booksellers pub. After a few drinks outside, we then moved inside and grabbed a bite to eat at which point we all called it a night and headed home.

On Saturday, after a morning at home and around the house, Uns and I then headed out that afternoon into town to Covent Garden and met up with James for a bite to eat at Pizza Pilgrims. After some grub there, we walked over to The Porterhouse to watch the Ireland vs South Africa game, the first of the Springbok's autumn internationals, being played in Dublin. I had some hopes for the game, but certainly didn't expect to lose 38-3 to the Irish :( Quite the hammering! After the game, Uns decided to head on home while James and I stayed on for a few more beers and to watch the Denmark vs Ireland football World Cup qualifying match, which resulted in a goalless draw.

On Sunday morning Uns and I stopped in at The Blackbird Bakery for breakfast, which we hadn't been to in a while, and then chilled out at home for the rest of the afternoon. Then last night we had tickets to go and see Greg Davies at the Hammersmith Apollo on his "You Magnificent Beast" stand up tour.

I only know him from a few TV shows, so wasn't sure what his stand up show would be like, but really was exceptionally funny and such a good night of comedy. Would definitely go watch him again if he does another stand up tour sometime!
