Last week the folks had been up in York for a few days, getting back into London on Thursday night and then down to Greg's place on Friday around midday. On Saturday morning, while Uns headed off into town for brunch with the girls, I made my way over to Kingston to meet up with the folks, as well as Greg & Kim and the boys who had all caught the bus up from Walton. After walking around the town centre a while, we stopped in at the Druids Head pub for a bit of lunch and a drink.

After a bite to eat and a wander around Kingston, Greg and Kim decided to head back home with the boys, while myself and the folks walked down and along the river. We decided then to stop in at the Druids Head again for a couple of beers before they got the bus back and I made my way home. Caroline was over from California and just passing through London, so she was staying with us the night before her flight back to the States yesterday. Was a nice evening in, and good to catch up with her over dinner and drinks.

Yesterday morning after breakfast and once Caroline had organised her taxi off to Heathrow, I made my way down to Weybridge where Greg, the folks and the boys picked me up at the station and we drove over to Mercedes-Benz World. We walked around there for a few hours, watched the feature film, looked around at some of the cars as well as going outside to watch the test drivers racing around the outdoor track.

After a good bit of the afternoon around there, we drove back to Greg and Kim's place for a little while before I caught my train back home in time for dinner and a bit of a relax at home.

Not too much planned for this evening, and tomorrow the folks are back up from Walton for a few days in London, so I've planned to take Wednesday and Thursday afternoons off and do a bit around town with them.
