Last week Tuesday evening Uns and I decided on dinner at Blues Kitchen in Shoreditch, but after having looked at their menu and stopping by there briefly, I noticed they'd taken my favourite burger, the Buffalo Bill, off the menu :( That's really scuppered me now... first it was Steers in Clapham Junction, then the Bleecker Black, then Kitchen 54 and now Blues Kitchen! I guess at least we still have Five Guys... for now! Anyway, after Uns and I had met up in Shoreditch (and I'd finished moaning about it), we decided to head over to Brick Lane and get ourselves a curry at City Spice on the corner which has always been pretty good. After dinner we decided to walk down to London Bridge via Tower Bridge for a slightly different and scenic route home.

After Tuesday, the rest of the week was fairly quiet and then we had Greg, Kim and the boys up for a braai for lunch on Saturday. The weather was good which meant we could spend a good bit of the day outside, playing in the garden and up in the log cabin. Was a nice day with them and think they had a good afternoon too.

Yesterday was another nice warm day, of which we spent the morning sitting outside on the outdoor sofa, and the afternoon up in the log cabin putting the new shelves and table together, which we'd had delivered from Ikea earlier in the day. Think the log cabin is now all sorted and fully furnished, and super happy with it too :)

After a nice warm and sunny weekend, today's a rather wet and miserable start to the week. We've got Claire and Jack over from Thursday this week until Sunday, so hopefully the weather improves and warms up again for their few days over in London!
