Last week Friday I met up with JP for lunch, along with Tom from Soc. After first meeting the guys at their office, we then went for lunch at Comptoir Gascon - a gourmet bistro & deli which specialises in food and wines sourced exclusively from the South West of France. Lunch turned into a bigger lunch than expected, followed by a few beers in the sun at The Fence. By then it was after 5pm, so after quickly heading back to the office to pack away the laptop, I made my way to the Crown and Shuttle and met up with Bee, followed by Mark and Stacey, Uns, Lozzie, Mr Shit and Sizi. We stayed there for a couple of drinks and then all headed over to Brick Lane for a curry at The Famous Curry Bazaar. After dinner, the others went in search for a pub for another drink, but Uns and myself figured we'd call it a night and head on home. ial Supe rstore

On Saturday we spent the day tidying up the house and finishing up the garden. Think we're now eventually done with the garden and outside area, it's taken a full year to the day but got there in the end. To compare the before and after garden photos, this little comparison slider shows two photos that were taken exactly a year apart, almost to the day :)

After a long busy day on Saturday in the garden, Sunday was our day to chill out and enjoy it. We had organised a braai at home with about 12 of the jukkas coming round. The weather was once again really sunny and warm, so all had a good day outside in the garden.

Last night, with it being yet another glorious evening, Uns and I decided to head up to Telegraph Hill Park for a bit of evening sun, followed by dinner at Chai's Thai restaurant.

The heat wave seems to be continuing into the weekend which is good news, so definitely an outdoors and sunny few days planned!
