On Friday last week I had booked in with the work guys to head out for dinner and drinks in Shoreditch, so after work we started with a quick cocktail at Old Street Records and then moved onto Amici Miei for dinner, which had certainly been sometime since I last ate there. After dinner we decided to head to Blues Kitchen for some drinks and music where we stayed on for the rest of the night.

On Saturday morning myself and Uns popped into Peckham to grab a few things from there and then chilled out at home for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Yesterday morning we had a fairly early start with tickets to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum. We've been going for the past five years or so, but weren't as impressed by this year's photos as we have been in previous years, not that they were bad or of poor quality, just thought that those in other years have been more impressive.

After the exhibition, we decided against walking around the museum since the Hintze Hall is closed until the summer while they take Dippy down and replace him with a blue whale skeleton. So instead of the museum, we went for lunch down the road at Carluccio's before heading home for the afternoon. Not much planned for this week coming up, but can't believe it's almost February though...
