Last Monday evening Uns and I decided to visit the viewing deck at The Shard, since we still had our Love London cards with unlimited entry and hadn't really used them much this year. After a bit of time walking around the viewing platform and the open air deck up on top (unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me to take photos, so these aren't my photos below), we then headed down and over to Nandos for dinner before heading home.

On Tuesday we had tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the O2 arena in Greenwich. We got there early enough and in time to see the support act, Babymetal, who I'd heard plenty about but never actually seen live before, and were certainly worth watching. Then the Chili Peppers played, and after not having seen them for probably nine years, really thought they put on a decent show with a good set list and awesome lighting. Definitely good to see them live again!

On Friday, at around lunchtime, I made my way down to Walton-on-Thames to meet up with Greg in time for Ethan's Christmas party at his school which involved his entire year doing a range of Christmas songs, and was very cute to watch :) After the concert we walked back to their place, helped Greg with the last of his packing before their taxi arrived to take them off to the airport. Once they'd gone I headed off to the station and then back home.

On Saturday evening Uns and myself made the journey up north to Finchley to go and watch Rob Beckett's stand up show "Mouth Of The South" at the Artsdepot. We'd only previously seen him on TV panel shows so was good to see a live gig of his. After the show we caught the tube down to London Bridge for the Silent Disco at The Shard. We'd spoken for sometime to go to it and had a good night there - a combination of the music and the views over London.

Yesterday morning we started off with a Skottel breakfast at home and then spent the rest of the day chilling out around the house and sorting out and tidying up the log cabin.
