After Uns flew over to Ireland last week Wednesday for a few days, I've been keeping myself busy with jobs around the house and trying (not too successfully) to learn to cook a bit :) Then Friday evening after work I headed to the Crown and Shuttle with the work guys for a couple there before heading home.

Saturday was spent around the house doing some work outside, as well as a trip to B&Q to start prepping and varnishing the floors of the log cabin in time for the sofa. I'd gotten a call this week to say the sofa should arrive on Monday next week so need to get the floor ready before then. After sorting the room and prepping the floors, I called it a day and headed over to Will and Aggie's place, along with Duncs, for a Thai dinner feast there, which Will had prepared. Good catching up with them and a fun night reminiscing of the years gone by - which also meant getting home way later than expected!

On Sunday morning I started off with a quick varnish of the log cabin floors, and then made my way down to Greg, Kim and the boys for lunch and the afternoon. Nice to see them again and relax there for the afternoon. Then the last couple of nights have just been busy at home with a few jobs around the house, and then I'm off to Ireland on Friday for Mark's stag weekend in Westport which should be good fun craic over there with that crowd!
