On Wednesday evening I met up with Sizi and Lorenzo Mr Shit for dinner after work, starting off with a quick beer at the Old Nick pub by Chancery Lane with Si's work mates, then over to Tajima-Tei on Leather Lane, a little Japanese restaurant, for dinner. While I had the classic Bento box for dinner which I thought was pretty good and Si had the Japanese curry, Mr Shit got scuppered with his cat food octopus sushi of some sort which certainly wasn't great at all! After dinner, myself and Davies headed back down to Peckham as he was staying at our place for a few days.

Thursday evening we'd arranged a Qui catch up evening at BrewDog Clerkenwell, so after work I headed down there with JJ and Michal to meet up with the other guys, and only stayed for a couple of hours catching up with everyone before making my way back to Peckham Rye to meet up with Uns and Davies and the three of us headed up to Franks. Sizi hadn't been to Franks before, and Uns and I were keen to go there for a bit, especially that it was coming to the end of their opening months. We stayed up there for a couple of drinks and then headed back home. dco

On Friday after work I stopped in at Eighty Four on the corner of Great Eastern Street for a post-work beer in the sun, followed by a fairly quiet Friday evening at home since yesterday was an early start for Uns, getting up just before 5am to get her taxi to the airport for her trip back to Cork for the weekend.

Later yesterday morning, Davies and I started off with some brunch at the Blackbird Bakery and then made our way into town in the early afternoon, starting off with a walk around the Tate Modern and up to the viewing deck once we had met up with Paul. From the Tate we stopped in at the Founders Arms for a bit, then over to the Old Bank Of England pub and then a bite to eat at Five Guys where we met up with Mark. We then followed him to the Piccadilly Institute bar or pub, but very quickly decided to not stay for another one, but rather made our way down to Putney to meet up with the other jukkas at The Boathouse. From there, we moved over to the Duke's Head, then the Coat & Badge and finally the Spotted Horse for a nightcap. A few of us headed back to Fisher's place for a couple before calling it a night and heading home.

This morning was a slower start to the day and with both Si and myself craving a fry up, so we took a walk into Peckham Rye and grabbed breakfast at Honest Burgers which hit the spot. After a bite to eat there, we headed home where Davies grabbed his bags and headed off to his brother's place for the afternoon before his flight back to SA tonight. The rest of the day was rather lazy spent relaxing in front of the TV.
