This past week has been incredibly hot here, but we still managed to maximise some good time in the sun in between being stuck indoors during office hours! On Monday evening after work James and Fede came around for a braai at ours for dinner, so was good to see them and catch up with them again.

Tuesday was another scorcher, so after work I met with Uns at Peckham Rye Common to soak up a bit of sun before dinner at Peddler, which is "a fairly new south London hot-spot for food and cuisine". After a good meal there we walked over to Franks for a beer up on the rooftop and watch the sunset, along with what seemed like the rest of Peckham too :)

I'm sure yesterday's afternoon temperature must've been about 33°C here - too hot to actually relax and really enjoy it outside. At least by the evening it had dropped a bit to a decent and more enjoyable temperature. So after work I met up with Uns up on Telegraph Park to watch the sunset and then we made our way down to Chai's Thai for dinner, and even then, at that time, it was still so warm and nice outside.

Since tomorrow's meant to be really warm and sunny again, we've decided to take the day off work and head down to the New Forest and make a long weekend of camping. Originally we were only going to go down after work, but with the weather been as nice as it is, we figured we'd get the extra day in :)
