The past few days have been quite busy with some DIY around the house, with us using June as the month to sort out and get the old garden shed taken down. After a visit to B&Q on Thursday evening to stock up on our DIY suppliers (and get a BBQ gas canister), we decided on Friday evening to go for pizza at Mamma Dough, followed by a beer at the Copper Tap to watch the opening game of the Euros - France vs Romania.

Yesterday morning we started off with a full Irish breakfast done on the Skottel. Uns had gotten me the Cadac Skottel back in January for my birthday and only this week we'd managed to buy a gas canister for it. So yesterday morning, after setting it all up and cooking up a storm, we sat down to our long awaited Skottel breakfast. No doubt there'll be a few more of those coming up :)

The rest of the day we spent sorting out the garden and starting to take down the shed, in preparation for the log cabin we want to replace it with. After a good few hours of dismantling the shed, we then tuned in to watch the rugby which South Africa managed to lose against Ireland, who even managed to play with only 14 men for the majority of it and we still couldn't beat them :( After the rugby, it was England's first game in the Euros and they only managed to draw 1-1 against Russia.

Today was more DIY work around the house and on the shed, we're slowly making progress with it and hopefully get it down sometime later this week, that's if the rain doesn't scupper us like it has this afternoon...
