Last week wasn't the best for me after landing up with bronchitis when we got back from our camping weekend in the New Forest, so I was off work and at home the whole week. But eventually started feeling better on Saturday which was good timing with us having had tickets for AC/DC at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday night. Uns was out in Fulham on Saturday during the day at Helene's baby shower, so I headed out to Stratford in the afternoon and met up with Duncs at a similar time to when Uns and Laurie got there. We met a couple of their mates too, grabbed a bite to eat in the food court and then headed over to the Olympic Stadium. The gig itself was amazing, better than we thought it would be with Axl Rose on vocals, who was standing in for Brian Johnson who's out after doctor's ordered him to stand down with concerns over his hearing loss. They played a good two and a half hour set, bashing out all their greatest hits with plenty of fireworks and cannons as well. Certainly didn't fail to impress!

Yesterday we had lunch booked in with Mr Shit Lorenzo and Laura, as well as Duncs, Laurie, Mark and Stacey. The sun was out in full force so managed to spend the whole afternoon chilling out in the garden and over-eating at theirs :)

At least I'm feeling back to full health again, back to work today and with the sunny weather outside, hopefully heading home this evening to have a braai outside!
