On Thursday evening after work I headed down to Clapham Junction to meet up with Greg for a couple of beers after work. I had a few documents for the folks which Greg said he could organise to get sent back to SA, so figured we'd meet up for a couple of pints roughly half way between us. After walking up Northcote Road we stopped in at the Draft House which had some standing space outside too. It was the second time I'd ever been to a Draft House, the first happened to be earlier that day for lunch where we tried out the new one by Old Street for their soft launch opening.

Friday afternoon's weather was still nice and sunny and after work a few of headed to Floripa for JJ's birthday drinks. I only stayed for a couple there before heading down to Peckham Rye to meet the jukkas at the Bussey Building for the showing of Top Gun on their rooftop cinema. Somehow between lunch time and that evening the temperature dropped by about 10°C or more! At least Una saved the day by binging loads of blankets and sleeping bags for us all!

On Saturday we did a bit of work around the house during the day, sorting out the garden shed and getting it ready to be pulled down. Then that evening I headed out to Greenwich to Gav's place for a braai there with Fernando and Ben. Was good catching up with them and as expected, Gav didn't disappoint with his food and braai skills.

Yesterday morning we started off with a Skype catch up with Noel and Megan, and then out to Greenwich to Aggie's place for a braai with her, Will, Paul, Carol and a couple of their mates. They have a really nice balcony overlooking Deptford Greenwich which got some decent sun, so spent the afternoon out there soaking it up in between the occasional cold spells when the sun would disappear behind some clouds... standard UK summer weather :)
