On Friday after work, since it was a fairly nice evening with a later sunset now that the clocks have moved forward, a few of us from the office popped into the The Crown & Shuttle's beer garden for a couple of cold ones there and to soak up the late afternoon sun, before heading home.

On Saturday Uns and I spent a good bit of the day sorting things out around the house, and then that evening we headed into town to The Savoy for dinner. Similar to Fera, we had booked the tasting menu which we were quite looking forward to. Unfortunately, unlike Fera, our meal was ridiculously rushed and hurried along and really not enjoyable at all! After initially really looking forward to it, we landed up leaving quite disappointed and won't be back there again. Afterwards we decide to pop into the The Waldorf Hilton for a couple of Old Fashioneds for ourselves before heading home.

Yesterday we were up fairly early to get the train down to Chertsey to visit Greg, Kim and the boys at their place, still in their temporary apartment for little Rory's 2nd birthday. After meeting Greg and the boys we headed out to pick up Kim from the church and then off to Shepperton Garden Centre. It has a nice play area for the kids and a food court for us to grab some lunch.

After the afternoon at the centre we headed back to their apartment, chilled out for the afternoon and then caught our train back up home. Spent last night quickly sorting out the house before Tommy and Sean arrive this evening for their three day London visit and stay with us.
