On Wednesday night last week I headed out to Croydon and met up with Uns at East Croydon station for a night of comedy at Fairfield Halls. Before the gig we stopped in for a cheeky Nandos and then made our way to the venue for Josh Widdicombe. Uns had bought tickets ages ago and it was his only "London" gig of the tour at the time. Very funny indeed - always enjoy a good night of excellent stand up comedy!!

Thursday and Friday nights involved a good bit of prepping and organising the house and food for Jukkas Christmas on Saturday afternoon. We had offered to host it this year and the total number of jukkas came to 28 which was always going to be a bit of a challenge. But we Una managed just fine with the cooking, plenty to go around and plenty left over for snacking throughout the evening! We were also really lucky with the weather being one of the mildest Decembers I can remember, especially with half of us standing around the braai and half the others sitting outside at the table. Definitely didn't feel like December weather!

Yesterday was always intended to be a quieter day, with a clean up in the morning, take away in the afternoon and then just a chilled out night in front of the TV. At least this week's only a three day week with us both flying off to Cork on Wednesday night, so a nice short week coming up!
