Yesterday after work we finished up and stopped in at Dinerama for a couple of beers outside before I left and headed home to sort the house out. Since we were out all of today and Anthony and Lui and there boys were arriving this afternoon, last night was the only chance we had to get the house ready.

Then this morning was an early start to catch the tube up to Marylebone in time for our train up to Birmingham for the South Africa vs Samoa game at Villa Park. We got into Birmingham in good time and after a walk through the the Bullring Shopping Mall, we then decided to grab a burger at Five Guys and head into the fanzone to catch a bit of the Italy vs Canada game. We weren't able to stay for the whole game, instead catching the shuttle bus over to Villa Park in time for the main game.

I was pretty nervous at first, especially after our loss last weekend to Japan, but after the opening ten minutes and a few points on the board, the nerves settled a bit and got to enjoy the rest of the game, with South Africa winning by 46 points to their 6.

After the game we caught the bus back to the city centre and back to the fanzone for the England vs Wales game which we could only watch the first half of, having to leave at half way wasn't ideal but needed to get back to London. We followed the rest of the game on the phone internet coverage which wasn't ideal with the intermittent internet connection on the train, but exciting nonetheless and still can't believe Wales managed to pull off a win. Well played to them! We've just got back into London now and about to catch the tube home, and then tomorrow it's Ireland vs Romania with Anthony, Lui and the boys which should be good fun!
