Sometime earlier in the year I had read that a pop up company in London were opening a Breaking Bad inspired cocktail bar for a couple of months out in East London. Without knowing too much about it, I bought a couple of tickets and last night myself and Uns met up at Stratford, grabbed a bite to eat at Shake Shack and then headed off through the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and over towards Hackney Wick - but landed up getting there really early! There was a pop up bar there for some drinks and a Los Pollos chicken themed tent serving some food. We grabbed an Old Fashioned each and some chicken and chips while we waited, which was OK, I'd guess the actual Los Pollos chicken from the TV show would've been slightly better! But eventually the previous group finished up their session and we all got to go into the RV to "cook" our own batch of cocktails :)

It was very well done, the RV was split up into two groups, one either side and each group was then split into two or three stations, with each station making part of the cocktail. After making the first cocktail, each group then got to make the other group's cocktail so we got to try both of them. Clever idea I thought, and afterwards Uns and myself got chatting to one of the founders about the idea and their success after a few previous pop ups. After a lengthy chat in the RV, we headed down to Hackney Wick station and made our way home.
