The last update I'd added was from our second night in Stintino after they'd slightly redeemed themselves with a room upgrade for us. After our couple of days there, we checked out on the Sunday and drove over to Saint Teresa, about 2 hours away and checked into Hotel Corallaro, a really welcoming hotel with nice pool area and only 100m from the beach. The afternoon we spent down on the beach and later on a walk along the rocks. Our walk ended near the Torre Longonsardo, a historic watchtower, and since they were open for sunset we figured we'd head up and watch the evening's sunset from there.

On Monday we spent the day on the beach, in the sea and around the pool area. That evening we took a drive over to Capo Testa to watch the sunset from the rocks and then back into town for dinner.

Yesterday we checked out of Hotel Corallaro after breakfast and took a drive along the coast, stopping off at Isola dei Gabbiani beach. There were a few windsurfing and kite surfing schools which seemed bizarre with the water fairly calm and the air so still, but as the day went on, the wind, waves and swell picked up which then made more sense for all the surf schools there. After lunch on the beach we continued our drive over to Colonna Resort, an hour's drive away.

Colonna Resort is an elegant luxury 5-star hotel set on the Tyrrhenian Sea, north of Porto Cuervo. After checking into our room, we headed down to the pools for the afternoon. Then after a while in the pools and sun, we decided to take a drive into Porto Cuervo for a walk around there and see all the luxury superyachts which were moored there ahead of the 2015 Perini Navi Cup. After our evening in Porto Cuervo we returned back to the hotel for dinner at the Colonna Restaurant. This morning we were up early for sunrise from our balcony, before breakfast and our last swim before checking out.

This afternoon we drove down to Olbia, an easy 40 minute drive away, but did stop off half way in Portisco for some pizza (and overpriced soft drinks) for lunch before returning the car at the airport and now waiting to fly back to London after a fantastic (second) honeymoon. Greg's over in London for work so planning to meet up with him later in town once we're back. Until the next update here... ciao grazie!
