What a week it's been! It's not often we have a mini heatwave here but when we do, there's no missing any opportunity to maximise the weather. On Monday evening this week, after rushing home, Uns and myself headed up to Telegraph Park and chilled up there in the warm evening sun. After a good bit of time there we made our way down to Chai's Garden for dinner where we hadn't been in ages, but still do a good Thai dinner there.
On Tuesday it was yet another scorcher of a day and figured we'd have a braai at home that evening. Lee and Greg happened to be up on Telegraph Hill so we invited them around so they joined us for a drink only, while we had our braai.
Wednesday turned out be the hottest July day on record, with London temperatures reaching 36°C which is pretty darn hot, especially for the UK! So after work, Uns and I headed up to Telegraph Hill again, this time with a packed dinner and chilled up there for the evening until sunset. The summer here doesn't last all that long but when it's good it's certainly worth making the most of it.
Yesterday after work it was Gerrit's leaving drinks so a few of us headed over to Brew Dog, where I just stayed for one before making my way down to Camberwell to meet Uns and head to Dan's for dinner. Was a good night there and catching up with him and home fairly late, so good thing I packed on Wednesday night for this weekend in Dublin for Noel's Stag, looking forward to it!
