Last Wednesday after work I headed out with Josh and Rob and the guys for a couple of beers at the Princess and later joined by JP. Him and I had discussed to grab a bite to eat and catch up over options, jobs, shares, etc etc - so after a couple at the Princess we made our way over to The Diner and grabbed dinner there followed by a quick one at the Barley Mow before calling it a night and making my way home to pack for the weekend.

Thursday after work I headed down to Liverpool Street and met Uns there before catching the train up to Stansted and flying out to Cork for Orla and James' wedding on the Friday. Once we arrived in Cork, we picked up our car and headed over to Claire and Michael's place for a quick catch up with them before calling it a night. On Friday morning Claire was only going in late so had a bit of time around the house with Jack before getting ready and driving down to Timoleague where the wedding ceremony was. The church and service was lovely and from there we headed over to Inchydoney for the reception. We had decided to stay the night instead of a taxi home, so after checking in and settling, we headed back up to the wedding for the night. It really was a great wedding - excellent food, good wine and the band were brilliant!

On Saturday morning, after a slowish start, we grabbed some breakfast in the hotel and then made good use of the pool and spa. Certainly a good way to chill out and recover after a wedding, so spent a good bit of the day in there. Afterwards we took a walk along the beach before driving down west to Bawn. After dinner we landed up having a nap (post wedding recovery) and then the original plan was to head down into the village but instead we preferred the idea of Skibb for takeaway chips :)

Yesterday for lunch we drove down to Baltimore for pizza at La Jolie Brise, followed by a drive over and around Reengaroga (I think) before heading home to pick up our bags and then make our way up to the airport. The flight landed up being delayed for about an hour which was a bit annoying and managed to get home around midnight, so not too bad. A bit knackered today but definitely expected after a wedding like that!
