On Monday afternoon the Lundies, folks and myself headed out for a spin around the coast - first to Trag and then onto Lough Hyne and around there. We spent a good bit of time around Lough Hyne before making our way back home and decided on the five of us having dinner at home that night.

Then yesterday morning Uns and myself had to stop in at the bank in Skibb to drop off a few payments before heading over to The Church and meeting the folks and Lundies there for lunch. We still had our voucher from last year Christmas so glad we managed to use it before it expired (again). After lunch at The Church we drove over to Knockdrum Fort which I'd promised them we'd definitely visit so glad the weather held out. After parking the car by the church we walked over to the Fort and up to it, which I think impressed everyone once up there :)

Once done walking around the Fort and admiring the view, we made our way back to the car and drove down to Castletownsend for the folks and Lundies to try get a photo of the harbour in decent weather, not had much luck up to then. From Castletownsend we drove around to Raheen Woods, took a walk through the woods there and then continued our drive over to Raheen which overlooks Castletownsend harbour. From Raheen we made our way back home, in time to quickly change and all head up to Teresa's place for some wine and dinner up there. A bit quieter night than all the previous dinners we'd had, but nice as a final farewell dinner to all.

This morning was the always-difficult farewell and byes to the family which never gets easier. They were heading up to Waterford for a few days while Uns and myself finished our packing and set off for Dublin. We stopped off at the Rock of Cashel but weather wasn't great so decided against going in. Once up in Dublin we dropped the car off, which was a beaut to drive and then checked into the Radisson for the night. We had originally thought of heading into Dublin for dinner but decided instead on a fairly chilled out evening with dinner downstairs in the Radisson. We've got an early start tomorrow with a 6am flight out to Milan then a nice week long honeymoon in Lake Como :)
