Can't believe how quickly the entire build up to this wedding has flown by. It seemed like just the other day we were discussing wedding dates and then venues and suddenly now it's all over. On Friday night, after the dinner down at Mary Anne's, myself Greg and Kim headed back to the bungalow and I stayed up for a while finalising my speech and preparations for Saturday. So on Saturday morning I was mostly ready for the day, all I had to do, once the girls had headed into town, was to pop up to the house to get my suit which I had managed to forget it there on the Friday. But once I had that, I was all set and ready for the day. Greg and I headed over to the church, in the pouring rain, about half 12 and waited there a while both got the rain to subside as well as for them to finish up the cleaning and tidying of the church after the first communion that morning. But once done and the crowds started to arrive, everything went according to plan :)

The day honestly flew by, I know everyone said it would but one minute I was standing at the front of the church, then next minute I'm up on Greg and Keith's shoulders bouncing to Africa by Toto and finally we're all sitting around in the bar area watching the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight until 6 in the morning! What a day :)

Sunday morning we were up fairly early to head down for breakfast, where we got a massive round of applause as we walked in - never had that before but felt good. After our breakfast we headed back to Bawn for a late lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon there. That evening it was back to the Celtic Ross and straight up to Nolan's in Rosscarbery for the night. Was another late one again with us finishing up with chips back at the hotel at around 3, so certainly made the most of the wedding weekend!

As much as there was a fair bit of stress and hassle leading up to the wedding, we were both rather sad this morning when it was all over considering what an amazing couple of days it was. After taking a while to check out this morning (between saying bye to everyone and settling up with the hotel), we eventually left and made our way back to Bawn and now waiting to meet up with the folks and Lundies for the afternoon. No rest for the wicked :)
