Last week Wednesday I had an opportunity to photograph inside St. Paul's Cathedral, along with a couple of hundred other photographers. They don't usually allow any form of photography inside the cathedral but they decided to try a ticketed event night where you could take photos inside. I managed to get myself a ticket for last Wednesday evening and went along there after work for a few hours inside the cathedral.
On Thursday the weather was fantastic, nice and warm Spring evening, so Uns and myself decided on a walk up Telegraph Hill to the park and around which made us both the summer would roll on quicker to get to spend more evenings outdoors. Similarly, Friday evening was also nice and after stopping by Beer Rebellion on the way home, I met Uns there once she was home from work and headed on home for dinner outside in the garden.
On Saturday I had lunch booked in with John, Josh, Rob and Syrus over at Hotbox London where Uns and I had been before with Noel and Megan. I headed through there around lunch time, met up with them at The Golden Heart and grabbed a quick pint before heading through to Hotbox. Lunch was good, but then after getting a call from Uns about her uncle I left there and dashed home for the afternoon. Never nice news to receive, especially with the family been some distance away. So the rest of the afternoon was just spent around the house with a bit of downtime. It was the Grand National that afternoon and we (Una) had a £2.50 bet on Many Clouds which landed up coming home first and we (she) got to pocket £100 in winnings! We did decide against Bee's party that night, felt it wouldn't be the best to head through there then but rather just take it easy at home. Yesterday was another stunning spring day here and while Uns headed out through to Stratford to get her makeup sorted, I chilled out in the garden soaking up a bit of the warm April sunshine :)
Most of this week is going to be rather mental with our wedding jobs and tasks still to sort out, and then I'm off to the Dam with the guys for the weekend over there which will no doubt be good fun... looking forward to it!
