Last Tuesday evening I met up with Josh after work for a couple of beers over the road at the Hoxton Hotel about his new venture and business idea and what he's looking to get from it going forward. So an interesting chat and something to consider down the line, realistically only after the wedding I suppose. Then Thursday evening I headed out to Stratford and met Uns there - we had a few things to sort and I was after a tie for my suit for the wedding which I hadn't yet gotten. Once we were done with our shopping we grabbed a bite to eat at Nandos then made our way home.

Friday evening was meat night with the guys - we'd booked a voucher for steak and chips down at Smiths in Spitalfields for the eight of us - myself, Duncs, Will, Si, Paul, Mark, Shawn and Lorenzo. But before meeting up with them, we left work a bit earlier and popped to The Bricklayers Arms, then the Barley Mow and then the Blues Kitchen. After a few there I made my way down to Spitalfields and met up with the jukkas at Smiths. The steak was good, half a kilo each which you can't complain about and then from there we headed on a pub hop around Spitalfields and Shoreditch - Bierschenke beer hall, All Bar One Bishopsgate, tried the Princess of Shoreditch but they'd stopped serving, then over to RoadTrip & The WorkShop bar and finally down to Sushi Samba where we only managed to get in after Mark's friend got chatting to the bouncer. Still, good place to finish up the night :)

Saturday turned into a very quiet day around the house, with not a lot of energy to do an awful lot and Sunday was also a rather chilled out day at home with us popping over to Sarah & Neal in the evening to (eventually) drop off their wedding present which we'd been meaning to do for a while. As quickly as the weekends do fly by, at lest this week is only a nice short four day week with Easter coming up on Friday, so looking forward to that.
