On Thursday evening I met up with Uns in town for a bit of Thursday night shopping around Oxford Street and then back over once again to John Lewis - in all the years I'd hardly stopped in there now can't seem to stay away :) After getting all we needed we headed down to St Christopher's Place and grabbed dinner at Carluccio's.

After Friday evening at home, Saturday afternoon I headed into town while Uns was at her wedding dress fitting. Matt was planning his proposal to Bee and wanted a few of the jukkas to help by holding on signs on Waterloo Bridge. So after heading into town, I met up with Ally, Helene and Fish at the Wellington along the Stand, followed later by Will, Mark, Si, Hansy and Duncs. While the lot of us waited down along the bridge, Matt and Bee headed up and were greeted by us with our signs. After saying yes and snapping a few more photos, we headed back to the Wellington for a few celebratory beverages.

After a few drinks at the Wellington we tried to get something to eat but everywhere we tried had at least a 40 minute wait so decided instead to mission over to Fulham Broadway and get Nandos there instead. After eating we headed down the road to Lozzie's birthday party at Kona Kai - a Polynesian-inspired tiki cocktail bar with bamboo walls, palm frond ceiling and a massive selection of rums. We were the only ones in there when we arrived but filled up in no time at all. It was good to catch up with everyone there and had a good night, but left in good time to prevent catching any buses or taxis home.

Yesterday was a wedding admin day with Carol coming round in the afternoon for Sunday lunch followed by her and Uns doing the pew ends for the afternoon. Can't say I contributed too much or able to take any credit for their handy work :) We did have plans to go back to the cèilidh dancing up in Camden but figured it would've been too much in one day so we'll leave it to another Sunday night!
