Friday night was spent over at the Blues Kitchen for Josh's farewell drinks, even though he's been leaving the company for months, he eventually got around to organising it for Friday night. Was a good night down there, I did decide to get last tube home which was probably best considering we had Sarah and Neal's wedding on Saturday - wouldn't want to be struggling too much before that.
Then on Saturday morning, Uns and I decided to try the Queens Cafe down the road for a fry up. We walk past it every day and keep mentioning we should stop in there, especially since they'd had it done up. The breakfast was alright, handy to have somewhere close for a quick fry up if need be, plus it set us up for the day ahead.
After breakfast and once we were ready, we made our way over to Wandsworth Town Hall and bumped into Dan en route there. Since we were rather early, we figured we'd stop in at The Brewers Inn for one beforehand, which is directly across from the town hall. The wedding was in the Grand Chamber in the town hall which was the same room I'd had my British citizenship ceremony in, so was good to go back. After their ceremony we all walked up to the Alma pub, where they had booked off the upstairs for their reception.
Our second London wedding in just over three months and quite nice having them close to home, especially afterwards when it's just a taxi ride back. Yesterday was just an easy day around the house, even though it was rather nice outside, we just landed up chilling on the couch and not getting up to much, which suited us both just fine :) Now that theirs is over with, the next one on the calendar is over in Ireland in May... existing but also realise it's not that far away at all...
