Last week Saturday was another trip out to Stratford for another round of suit fitting for the alterations from the week before, plus a bit of walk around and shopping before heading home then dashing out to Duncan and Laurie's place for dinner there. Sunday was just a bit of work around the house and then the old faithful Telegraph roast for lunch, always a winner!

The first half of last week just mainly involved myself and Uns sorting out some wedding admin and prep work, just chipping away with things as and when we can. Then Thursday was the big one, the big tirty-tree thirty three, so to celebrate we had booked into Goodman in Soho for a well deserved steak for dinner. I got to Charing Cross before Uns and met her at The Beer House and then headed up to Goodman for the evening. Had a really good night there, good starter, good wine and amazing steak! From dinner we stopped in at the Old Coffee House just off Carnaby Street and then once they closed we popped into Ain't Nothing but the Blues, which we'd both always said we should try out but never had before. Fairly small inside but good atmosphere, will make a plan to head back there again!

After a really good Thursday night we were about to leave for work on Friday morning when the leak in the bedroom returned but this time in the form of a waterfall. Luckily we were both home and managed to alert upstairs but not the most fun way to spend a Friday morning dealing with that! Saturday I was back off to Stratford, third weekend in a row but at least this time by suit was sorted, so that's at least another thing properly ticked off the wedding list :) After spending Saturday afternoon at home, I headed out in the evening over to Clapham and met up with Will, Duncs, Chris and Dovile at BrewDog which had opened back in August but I'd yet to visit. We stayed there for the night, good catching up with everyone before hopping on the bus and heading home.

Today was one of those typical winter days I really don't mind - crisp, but clear blue sunny skies which I can easily handle. After a walk into Peckham Rye and the gym, we spent the afternoon at home just taking it easy and getting a few of wedding list things sorted. Plenty to do, but getting through them!
