Firstly, a happy 2015 to everyone! Got a pretty big year coming up, with May getting closer and closer, then a good number of weddings on after that plus the Rugby World Cup in September, so plenty going on and to look forward to! We finished up 2014 with a party round at ours and seeing in the new year from up on Telegraph Hill where you could get a fairly decent view of the fireworks in the distance. After the hill we headed down to Skehans for a quick stop by didn't stay that long before making our way back home.

On Thursday morning, with Fish and Will still around, we tucked into a fry up which sorted us all out before kicking them out and spending the rest of the day chilling on the couch watching some TV and a selection of movies, which was always going to be the plan for the 1st :)

Friday morning both Uns and myself decided to head into the office instead of taking the day off. Maybe if we had plans or were still away we'd have booked it off but not this time. And hardly did anything so was probably the right choice getting the first working day of the year over with. Yesterday morning myself and Uns decided to hit the gym in the morning and then out to Westfield Stratford in the afternoon and landed up buying myself a wedding suit. That wasn't the initial plan, we had tickets booked to Paddington but thought I'd pop into Hugo Boss and found a suit I really liked and after a few size swaps and fittings I had myself a suit sorted. So that's another big thing ticked off the list!

Then today Una headed out to the gym while I lazed around at home, wasn't in the mood for any exercise :) But this afternoon we both headed out through to Charing Cross for a casual walk around town while the Christmas lights were mostly still up, especially Carnaby Street and Kingly Court which still looked very festive. While walking around we came across Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. which we thought we'd try out, and turned out to be a very American deep fried fast food place, not quite what we expected. Still, wasn't that bad, but probably won't be back there in a hurry.

After dinner we slowly made our way home, with a real bad case of the Sunday night blues setting in tonight. Even though we'd both been back to the office on Friday, neither of us are quite ready to tackle a full week of work. Still, we're better off having gone in Friday, even if we didn't really do anything :)
