Last Monday was an early start to the week having to get the first train from Queens Road then out to Heathrow for our 9am flight to Berlin. After the afternoon in the office on Monday we figured we'd head out for the evening and John knew of Kaschk Bar & Coffee Shop which had craft beers upstairs and Shuffleboard downstairs... perfect. We landed up spending the night there until we decided it was time for pizza and then back to the hotel. Tuesday was spent in the office again until we left for the airport and finally back to London.
On Thursday was our work Christmas party and different to previous years it was held in London, just down the road from the office at The Sterling Bar underneath the Gherkin Tower. It was pretty packed in there for the dinner with them jamming a good number of people and other companies in for the night. But had a good evening there and stayed on until John and myself decided to head down to London Bridge and try Bellucius which was closing up but managed to get into The Blue Eyed Maid which was still open. We stayed there a while and finally called it a night, where I headed home via Lewisham for some reason!!?
Friday was a fairly long day at work but got through it OK, with no plans at all for that evening. Then Saturday was Jukkas Christmas out at Paul and Carol's place. Beforehand Uns and myself headed down to the Blackbird Bakery for brunch and then out to Woolwich for the party. Definitely a good fun afternoon with everyone out there and won myself a mini Air Hockey table which was alright. After leaving their place we stopped by the Dial Arch for one while waiting for the bus then finally home.
Yesterday was just a lazy day at home and did some packing yesterday evening for Christmas over in Cork and fly out this evening, so certainly looking forward to a bit of a break over Christmas :)
