On Saturday morning I headed through into London Bridge and down to Borough Studios to meet up with the guys for another V5R band practice with Phil who was down for the weekend. Like before it was unbelievably hot in there and this time my lens fogged up and never really recovered so didn't quite get all the shots I was hoping to. Then after the practise we all headed up to Katzenjammers for a couple of steins as a warm up to Will's birthday later on.

With a couple of steins down, we all decided to head home and after grabbing a nap and a bite to eat, myself and Uns headed through to Earlsfield for Will's birthday at The Wandle. It had been about 4 years since I was last there, which also happened to be for Will's birthday. We started off with an area outside and then moved inside when the band/DJ started. It really didn't take too long for things to get messy and when the place closed up, the last of us decided to head off to Thai Square which was and wasn't really necessary :) A good night out with everyone, finished off with a visit to the colonel before taxiing it home.

For a night which we had said and thought wouldn't be a late one, it certainly was, and needless to say the two of us felt it on the Sunday. Not knowing quite what we were craving we decided to head down to New Cross House for lunch which landed up being a fairly disappointing burger. Not quite as good as their pizzas! After lunch we headed home to chill out for the afternoon.

So apparently today's the official start of autumn which means the summer is now over - a bit depressing really, but knew it had to come to an end sometime. Myself and Uns are heading through to Decathlon tonight to pick up some more camping gear, we're hoping to try get away this weekend if the mild weather continues. Fingers crossed...
