With this past week being fairly mild and it also being the last week that Frank's was open, myself and Uns decided to stop by there on Tuesday evening after a quick session at the gym. We landed up eating there as well as grabbing a beer each, while watching the sun slowly disappear behind the skyline. Really didn't feel like we got to make the most of Frank's this year, I guess it was just a fairly busy few months of summer!

On Wednesday night we went to go watch a free screening of Mandela at the More London Free Film Festival at the Scoop, by London Bridge. I'd gotten there early enough to grab a place to sit but Uns struggled to get in for ages - clearly a lot busier than we thought. After the movie we met up with Lorenzo and Mark who'd also decided to come through and the four of headed up to The Shipwrights Arms for a few cold ones before calling it a night.

Then last night, something completely different - Cèilidh Dancing down in Balham. Uns had looked into it and booked us a ticket each for a night of Cèilidh themed around the Scottish Referendum. So after work, since I finish a bit earlier, popped down to the Barley Mow for a couple then made my way down to Balham, first for a bite to eat at The Regent then down to the Fusilier House for the night of Cèilidh dancing.

I'm clearly not quite fit enough for a full night of that just yet, absolutely knackered afterwards, but definitely good fun, sure we'll be back for another night down there, and maybe get a few more of us along, should be fun!
